About the event

How can we design neighbourhoods that offer solutions to urgent urban challenges? Keynote speaker Magnus Schön, of Kod Arkitekter, Stockholm, brings examples of urban developments and approaches that combine landscape and architecture in support of a resilient, inclusive and sustainable future.

Inspire Jericho Talks is a speaker series to share inspiration, spark ideas, and explore the possibilities for the Jericho Lands redevelopment. Inspire Jericho Talks is co-hosted by the joint venture of Canada Lands Company (CLC) and the Musqueam Indian Band, Squamish Nation and Tsleil-Waututh Nation (MST) Partnership, together with the City of Vancouver, as part of the process to transform the Jericho Lands into a new neighbourhood that is welcoming and a benefit to the community.

Previous Inspire Jericho Talks include Creating Great Neighbourhoods: Happy Cities (Charles Montgomery); Creating Great Neighbourhoods: Connected Communities (Jeff Speck); and Creating Great Neighbourhoods: Respect the Land (Margie Ruddick).
