The Mount Pleasant Business Improvement Area (MPBIA) celebrates creativity in our neighbourhood with the 2nd Annual Vancouver Mural Festival!

The MPBIA is excited to announce the Vancouver Mural Festival on Saturday August 12th from 12pm–6pm. With 10 blocks in Mount pleasant closed to traffic including Main St between E 12th & E 7th Ave., close to 100,000 people are expected to visit the area to view all the completed murals and partake of the live art, music, markets and community activities. VMF brings together local businesses with artists, musicians and performers, community groups and community led art projects, to create a festival unlike any other festival in Vancouver.

Highlights include Red Bull Tour Bus Stage with Yukon Blonde & Louise Burns Music, Alleyway Oasis feat. City Disco and Treasures & Travels Market, tattoo flash event by Black Medicine Tattoo, "Art of Brewing" craft beer garden by Vancouver Craft Beer Week, Holden Courage Memorial Graffiti Jam, 4-Elements parking lot party by Vancouver Street Dance Festival - VSDF, and much much more!
