Live from the University Endowment Lands, Abundant Housing's latest mansion walking tour! Ending up at a special mansion social.

Apartments? No way. Student housing? Never. Basement suites? Not legally. At the UEL, it's all mansions, all the time.

We'll meet at the Starbucks on Dalhousie Road, in the UEL's apartment and commercial hub. This is next to the Allison stop on the 99 B Line, and a short walk from the UBC bus loop. From there, we will check out Musqueam's new leləm̓ development, and then get into the mansions, calmly nestled behind hedges and carefully segregated from UBC's new student housing.

Housing crisis? What housing crisis? Next to western Canada's largest university, with 60,000+ students, exists a strange area set aside by the BC government entirely for mansions.

The tour runs from 2-4pm, traveling about 3km on well-paved roads and sidewalks, with a social afterwards at a secret mansion location in the UEL. Don't tell the UEL administration. 🤫
