Next Chapter of Change for Mount Pleasant: The Broadway Plan
Exploring the early impacts in Mount Pleasant after the adoption of the Broadway Plan almost a year ago.

Description: Mount Pleasant is a dynamic neighbourhood that has seen many eras of change and will see many more. Walking from the future Mount Pleasant Station Area to the Great Norther Way-Emily Carr Station Area we will get a sample of recent developments guided by the Mount Pleasant Plan and the first few developments being brought forward under the Broadway plan. Stops will include the future park at Main and 7th, the M5 Main Alley development, the Native Education College, the Lions Manor replacement, Saint George Rainway, and ending at the Plaza near Nemesis Coffee
Walk Leader: Craig is an urban geographer, civic organizer in the Mount Pleasant Neighborhood passionate about housing and transportation.
Starting place: The Plaza at 10th and Quebec in front of the now unnamed Federal Building
How to recognize your walk leader(s): Look for a guy wearing a Rainbow and Zebra Print Cowboy Hat

Travel Tips: Starting and ending locations are 15 minute walk apart in close proximity to major transit routes. Parking can be limited in the neighborhood.
