Imaginary Landscapes on Paper
May 31
05:00 PM - 07:00 PM
Organized by: Pacific Arts Market
Topics: Art, Workshop
This event is: Public
Admission Fee: $81.21

About the event

With the help of brushes and kitchen tools (!) we will explore different shapes and lines and will try to capture movement on paper.

My paintings allow me to explore with curiosity, to travel with colours and move with calligraphy. The imaginary landscapes that I create in this way are an invitation for the viewer to go on their own journey and to craft their own story.

In this workshop I will share part of my creative process with you. In a relaxed and mutually supportive atmosphere you will learn how to create beautiful imaginary landscapes on paper with acrylic paint, tape, and markers.

I will show you a unique way of mixing colours.

We will then create our own spaces on paper with tape.

With the help of brushes and kitchen tools (!) we will explore different shapes and lines and will try to capture movement on paper.

The final step is the addition of architectural elements with the help of markers.

The goal is to explore and enjoy your creativity and to remove the fear of mistakes.

Since we are working with acrylics I would suggest you wear old clothes but if required, there are aprons available on site.

Experience is not required and all materials are included in the price.

I am looking forward to sharing part of my creative process with you in this workshop!!

Hope to see you there,

Helene
