About the event

Join us for an informal talk and tour of the Museum of Vancouver’s highly anticipated exhibition c̓əsnaʔəm: The City Before the City. This Q&A evening will involve a Musqueam cultural researcher and MOV’s curator of Contemporary Culture, Viviane Gosselin in a conversation touching on several themes in the exhibition:  from the importance of traditional teachings, to the revitalisation of the hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ language and history of relationships between Indigenous and settler societies in Vancouver.
