About the event

Join the AFBC X ADFF - Movie Night to watch the screening of Magical Imperfection: The Life and Architecture of Raymond Moriyama.

Our collab with the Architecture and Design Film Festival Vancouver (ADFF) introduces a little pre-festival (November 9-12) screening of an amazing documentary.

The renowned Canadian practitioner, Raymond Moriyama of Toronto-based practice Moriyama Toshima, passed away on September 1 at the age of 93. As a young, ambitious architect, he went from designing small park outbuildings to designing the Ontario Science Centre - which set a standard for science centres all over the world.

Join us for movie night to learn about this iconic architect that has left a huge mark on Canada's civic domain.
