Urbanarium is a not-for-profit organization with a volunteer Board of Directors, consisting of professionals in the fields of architecture, urban design, planning, development and communications, who are passionate about city making. Started in 1985, Urbanarium has become a respected platform for urban conversation in Metro Vancouver and a place where people can get reliable information and resources without political or ideological bias.

We create events, tools, and projects to discover more about our city and ourselves. What’s happening? How do our urban systems work? What forces are acting on it, what alternative futures might happen and what can we do to affect those outcomes?
