About the event

Architect Ray L. Toby designed and built the house at 2055 Queens Avenue for his family in 1962 that is considered a pioneer of the West Coast Style. Although it has been recognized as a historically significant property, there is currently no legal protection for the house, it could be demolished and the site redeveloped under existing zoning. West Vancouver Council will consider taking steps to conserve this heritage property and provide ongoing legal protection for the Toby House.
