CivEd

Meet Ed!
K - 12 workshops and tours that teach students how to be active, engaged residents. CivEd will aim to provide young people with a stronger sense of their role as residents as well as provide them a seat at the planning table. Currently in development, these workshops will explore current issues and themes of city and Nations governance, urban planning and design, land use, architecture, equity and more. Master's students at the Centre for Digital Media are actively working on bringing CivEd to life using augmented reality. 

The CivEd brand, designed by Rethink, has received five Applied Arts Award and a Communication Arts Award.
