SFU Public Square, HCMA Architecture + Design and TILT Curiosity Labs invite you to join other engaged citizens for this one-day exciting event that gives you the chance to temporarily transform spaces in the public realm. Spend the day collaborating in teams to concoct, craft, and communicate your urban interventions.

Begin the day with a light breakfast and orientation before your team ventures out into the city. You’ll have to think quickly and develop ideas to make a plan for action. After lunch you'll launch your intervention and engage the streets! At the end of the day we'll come back together again to share our experiences over cocktails and snacks before heading over to We The City: An Evening at the Centre featuring Candy Chang, Teju Cole, Buffy Saint-Marie, and Mo Dhaliwal (ticket provided as part of your TILT City registration). We'll provide you with materials and resources. Come with an open mind and be ready to have some fun. All this for just $20!

Engage with new people and connect in, and with, the streets of your city.Whether you’d prefer to come solo, or with a group you already know, this is your chance to connect with other like-minded people to see what creative cooperation can accomplish in a single day! Individual and corporate participation is encouraged. As this is a team-based activity, it holds great potential for businesses to increase their public visibility and build out their community engagement portfolios. Please limit applications from your company to a maximum of 10 individuals and understand that a maximum of two per firm will be part of any single team.
