Moderators

Piyush Mehta
Piyush has been a Surrey resident since 2013. He emigrated from India and then from Kenya to Canada where he worked in the IT sector and had a family business. He is currently operating a wholesale distribution business in Surrey. Piyush is interested in giving back to his community and has recently become a member of the Surrey Immigrant Advisory Roundtable.

Wafa Al-jabiri
Wafa has been a Surrey resident since 2013. She came to Canada from Iraq and has been an active member of her local community. Wafa is a member of the City of Surrey's Social Policy Advisory Committee and is on the Surrey Immigrant Advisory Roundtable.
About the Philosophers' Café

Philosophers’ Café is a series of informal public discussions in libraries, cafés and restaurants throughout Metro Vancouver.
